Alena is an abstract artist. She began painting in search of self expression and a more profound connection with herself. Her grandfather being an artist, she was introduced to the enchanting world of art at an early age.
Alena loves working in large scale and using music and the movements of her body to direct her work compositionally. Although Alena’s work is guided by her studies, she usually finds her art being impacted by the emotional connections she holds with in-visual realities, experiences as well as impulses during the painting process itself.
Alena is currently working as an artist from her studio in Berlin, Germany.
